While standing in front of a 16th century castle in Avignon, France, a sword like object embedded in stone caught my eye. From this, my imagination went wild and I created an abstract view of the sword and its tragic medieval tale. Thick layers of paint are hand applied to create movement and texture. Because this is an original hand painted work of art, no two pieces of art will be exactly the same. The gallery wrapped canvas is set into a floating black wood frame.
